Faster production, improved quality, and the ability to manufacture triple-wire mesh—Tammet’s EVG IM-ECO welding machine brings greater flexibility to welded mesh production.

Purchased in 2022 and completed in 2023, the machine supports our ability to meet diverse customer needs across industrial, fencing, and other applications.

With a welding width of up to 3,200 mm and wire diameters ranging from 3 to 8 mm, it enables us to manufacture a wide variety of mesh configurations.

Fast product changeovers support flexible production runs, while EVG-ECOWELD medium-frequency DC welding technology contributes to an efficient and controlled welding process.

Welded Mesh for Demanding Environments

Mines, tunnels, construction sites, and industrial environments can require protection solutions designed to perform under exceptionally demanding conditions.

When corrosion resistance or a service life of more than 50 years is required, Tammet can manufacture welded protective mesh using stainless AISI 304, acid-resistant AISI 316, Duplex 1.4362, or alternatively 1.4462.

Duplex stainless steel can also provide a cost-effective alternative in many demanding applications, combining high strength with excellent corrosion resistance.

Tammet manufactures mesh sheets up to 3 meters wide and mesh rolls up to 1.25 meters wide for protecting people, machinery, and large areas.

We also test our stainless-steel protective mesh to determine the loads it can withstand — helping our customers select a safe and reliable solution for their specific application.
