For Arja and Jari, the dream was clear: if they ever built another home, it would be by the sea. When they found the perfect waterfront plot in the Porvoo archipelago in Finland, Honka Touko became the starting point for their new home.

Anne and Janne chose Honka Vilja as the starting point for their countryside home and adapted the floor plan to suit their family.

The sauna and technical space were removed, giving more space to the children’s room and utility room. A loft was added to the children’s room, while the ceiling height was increased to almost four metres to create a brighter and more spacious interior.

This beautiful log home is now the home of Zeng Zeng and Frank, surrounded by a peaceful landscape.

The logs were produced at the Honka factory in Finland and individually numbered according to the plans before being delivered to Hangzhou, where the home was carefully assembled layer by layer.
