Manufacturer of marine, telecom and industrial cables Helmacab Oy on erikoistunut laiva- ja telecom-kaapelien suunnitteluun, valmistamiseen ja myyntiin.

Olemme toimineet kansainvälisellä tasolla jo yli kuusikymmentä vuotta toimittaen kaapeliratkaisuja asiakkaillemme yli kuuteenkymmeneen maahan ympäri maailmaa vuosittain. Marine-puolella olemmekin yksi maailman suurimmista laivakaapelivalmistajista ja -toimittajista. Telecom-puolella olemme pioneereja hybridikaapeleiden suunnittelussa, ja maailman ensimmäiset 5G-mastot on rakennettu käyttäen Helmacabin telecom-hybridikaapeleita. Kesän kovin kokoonpano ei esiintynyt stadionilla – kesätöissä Helmacabilla

Tänä kesänä meillä Helmacabilla oli ilo työllistää 30 kesätyöntekijää Suomen toimipaikoillamme.

Kesä ei mennyt peukaloita pyöritellessä. Tuotannossamme tehtiin ennätyskuukausia, tilauksia riitti ja vauhtia piisasi. Onneksi mukana oli joukko energisiä, oppimishaluisia ja hyvällä asenteella varustettuja nuoria tekijöitä.

Kesän päätteeksi kysyimme kesätyöntekijöiltämme, millainen kesä Helmacabilla oli. Yksi asia nousi palautteissa selvästi esiin: porukka. Uudet tekijät kokivat olevansa osa tiimiä, apua ja neuvoja sai aina tarvittaessa ja työilmapiiriä kuvailtiin kannustavaksi. Myös huipputyökaverit ja esihenkilöt keräsivät runsaasti kehuja.
Moni suosittelisi Helmacabia työpaikkana myös kavereilleen. Ehkä kaikkein paras osoitus viihtymisestä on kuitenkin se, että osa kesätyöntekijöistämme palaa meille vuosi toisensa jälkeen. Se on meille yksi parhaista palautteista, jonka voi saada.

Olemme erityisen ylpeitä siitä, että pystyimme tarjoamaan kesätyöpaikan 30 nuorelle. Vielä parempaa on, että osa tästä porukasta jatkaa kanssamme myös opintojen ohessa.

Kiitos kesästä, nuoret tekijät. Kuten kesän parhaista keikoista, teistä jäi hyvä fiilis kaikille.

School’s Out for Summer – so they spent it at Helmacab

This summer, we had the pleasure of welcoming 30 summer workers to our Finnish locations.
And what a busy summer it was. Orders kept coming in, production hit record months, and there was never a shortage of things to do. Luckily, we had energetic, curious and motivated young people helping to keep things moving.

At the end of the summer, we asked them what their time at Helmacab had been like. One theme came through loud and clear: the people. Our summer workers felt welcome, part of the team, and comfortable asking for help when needed. They also had plenty of good things to say about their brilliant colleagues and supervisors.
Many said they would happily recommend Helmacab to a friend. But perhaps the best feedback of all is that some of our summer workers keep coming back year after year.

We're especially proud that we were able to offer summer jobs to 30 young people. And we're even happier that some of them will continue working with us alongside their studies.

Thanks for the summer, youngsters. Like a great rock anthem, you never missed a beat.

Haemme sähköiselle matkallemme mukaan kesätyöntekijöitä kesälle 2025!
Työtehtäviä löytyy monipuolisesti tuotannon puolelta kaapelien valmistuslinjoilta, ja työpaikkoja on tarjolla molemmilla tehtaillamme - aurinkoisessa Hangossa ja Turun naapurissa Kaarinassa. Meillä tuotantotyö ei ole yksitoikkoista liukuhihnatyötä, vaan jokainen työntekijä on tärkeä ja olennainen osa yrityksemme menestysketjua. Tule mukaan johtoporukkaan ja saat meiltä työkavereiksi kotimaan (ja monen muunkin maan?) parhaat tyypit kaapeliteollisuudessa!

Milloin meille sitten pääsee töihin? Kesätyö ajoittuu toukokuusta elokuulle, m***a tiesitkö, että parhaimpien tyyppien kanssa voimme jatkaa työsuhdetta pidempäänkin, joko täyspäiväisinä tai osa-aikaisina!
