Getting Pizzeria Sol ready to fire up 🔥🍕

We’ve been busy behind the scenes at the new Sol Pizzeria, Cumbre del Sol, getting some of the important bits ready for opening.

❄️ Air conditioning serviced
💧 2 new condensate pumps installed
💨 New commercial kitchen extraction system installed
🔥 Gas pizza oven commissioned and fired up

A nice mix of HVAC, ventilation and commercial equipment — exactly the sort of jobs we enjoy.

Great to see everything coming together and that oven finally burning! 🔥🍕

Out with the old, in with the upgrade 💪💧

Today’s job: replacing a tired and unreliable water pump with a new high-pressure multistage pump and automatic pressure controller.

We also built a raised base to keep the new pump clear of any standing water—protecting it and future-proofing the installation.

Pipework altered, system commissioned and tested. Strong, consistent water pressure restored throughout the property.

What a summer ☀️🔧

It’s been absolutely relentless and I’ve probably been too busy to appreciate where we actually get to call home.

Still busy, but the madness is finally easing, the crowds are thinning out and our little bit of paradise is starting to feel like ours again. 🌴🌊

Sometimes the morning commute is all the reminder you need.

Feeling pretty bloody blessed 🙏

❄️ A DAY IN THE FRIDGES 🧊

From fixing a domestic American fridge freezer and getting the ice maker back in action this morning…

To a commercial freezer this afternoon with a condenser that definitely hadn’t seen daylight for a while 😳 — stripped down, cleaned, serviced and back down to temperature.

Then finishing the day discussing our next project — new industrial walk-in fridges and freezer rooms for a commercial kitchen. 👌

Fridges, freezers, cold rooms, breakdowns, servicing and new installations.

July… what a month! 🥵🔥

Looking back, it’s been absolutely non-stop from start to finish. Working through the extreme heat and humidity we’ve had this month hasn’t been easy, but it’s been another month doing what I love and helping customers stay cool, comfortable and keep their homes running.

The temperatures have been relentless, which means air conditioning has been working harder than ever. It’s been long days, hot roofs, cramped spaces and plenty of sweat… but I wouldn’t have it any other way.

3/3 a Mitsi HR25 in the back of the van and that’s where it’s staying… The customer thought it was ok to come out shouting and screaming at me and my lads for being 30mins late… Not today pal… your now at the back of the que and I’ll squeeze a couple of breakdowns in this afternoon.
