La vivienda se concibe desde una relación esencial entre dos condiciones opuestas y complementarias: una pieza longitudinal, masiva y opaca, que se arraiga al terreno, y un volumen ligero y transparente que se posa sobre ella. En su encuentro se concentra el acceso y se ordenan los recorridos, mientras las visuales, la vegetación y el agua extienden la arquitectura hacia el paisaje. Nos interesa esa tensión entre peso y ligereza, entre opacidad y transparencia, entre tierra y aire.
The house is conceived through an essential relationship between two opposite and complementary conditions: a longitudinal, massive and opaque piece rooted in the ground, and a light, transparent volume resting above it. At their intersection, the entrance and circulation are articulated, while views, vegetation and water extend the architecture towards the landscape. We are interested in this tension between weight and lightness, between opacity and transparency, between earth and air.
