Working on a historic winery is, above all, an exercise in continuity.
A continuity of architecture that speaks of its history while giving new life to a space shaped by time.
Built in the early 18th century, the winery is arranged over two floors around a courtyard and retains a distinctive pitched roof, emphasised over the building’s central bay.
After years of abandonment, the space is being transformed into a private residence. The project seeks to preserve its identity, acknowledge its history and reveal the traces left by time.
The intervention maintains the open character of the former winery, introducing only the necessary partitions. Lightweight fluted-glass divisions organise the interior while preserving visual continuity and allowing light to flow between spaces.
A new life for a space that already had a story to tell.
