The toro is finished... now it's time to soften the strength.
Next come the red carnations, a flower that's become deeply woven into Spanish culture. Bold, passionate and impossible to ignore—just like the animal itself.
I love the contrast between powerful wildlife and delicate florals. It's where these paintings really start to tell their story.

Did you know?

The horns of a Spanish fighting bull aren't just impressive, they're unique to each animal. Their shape, curve and length are as individual as a fingerprint.

Painting them isn't just about getting the anatomy right. It's about giving the bull its identity.

One detail at a time...

In Spain, the torro is more than an animal.

For centuries it has been a symbol of strength, resilience and pride, woven into the country's culture and landscape.

I wanted to paint that strength... but with a softer side.

The crown of red carnations is my way of blending power with beauty, creating something that feels both bold and elegant.

This one is still a work in progress, but I think his personality is starting to shine through.

What do you think so far? ❤️🇪🇸

What surprised me whilst painting this piece was the colours hidden within the obvious black of his fur.

An all black animal is so much more than that. From the darkest black and every tone inbetween leading up to white. Then the surprising ones.... a pop of blue or a smudge of orange.

He's starting to stare back now.

I wanted to capture his presence. Calm. Powerful. Unapologetically Spanish.

The metallic crimson background already catches the light beautifully, and now el torro is beginning to emerge from it. Next comes the crown of red carnations that will soften his strength without taking any of it away.

One brushstroke at a time... ❤️

The black fur always goes on first.

Not because that's how the bull will stay, but because it creates the foundation for every highlight, every texture and every strand of hair that comes later.

This toro is inspired by the quiet power of Spain—strong, calm and impossible to ignore.

The carnations will soften the piece. The metallic red background will make it glow.

But first... he needs his strength.

Sometimes the boldest paintings begin
with the darkest layers.

❤️ I can't wait to show you how this one evolves.

Every collection needs a character with a little attitude... ❤️🖤

Meet the newest addition to my easel.

A Spanish toro, a crown of red carnations, and a background that refuses to be subtle.

Right now it's just a sketch on roughly painted background... but give me a few days and I think this one's going to steal the show.

Who's ready to watch this one come to life? 🌹🐂✨

Who says wildlife can't have a sweet tooth? 🧁

This adorable little meerkat has officially joined the Beasts & Blooms family.

Complete with delicate fur, a giant cupcake, and a hand-laid gold leaf background that changes with every shift in the light.

One more finished... One step closer to November.

Now that's the icing on the cake right there. Those little sparkles ✨️ make it even sweeter.
