presents for Hermès Escalera Infinita, an artist window conceived within the theme of “L’Appel du Large”, an invitation to travel towards the unknown.
Two monumental staircases transform the space at Passeig de Gràcia 81 into a continuous journey, where perspectives shift and the boundaries between architecture and perception begin to dissolve.
The project draws on the impossible geometries of M.C. Escher, the architectural language of Aldo Rossi, and the balance and proportion of Andrea Palladio.
The project also explores the transition from plaster to wood, translating the tactile qualities of the materials into a continuous architectural language.
The staircase becomes both a physical passage and a metaphor for discovery, inviting visitors to move beyond the familiar.
