Apparently, I did remember how to paint. 😂

This is where I left this guy before going on vacation vs. where he is now, after getting back yesterday.

I made some pretty big changes to the colours, contrast and overall definition — and honestly, I wasn’t expecting to enjoy getting back to him this much.

Still a long way to go, but I’m finally back at the painting desk!

Barcelona 2026: I walked from Barceloneta, past the cathedral, through the Gothic Quarter and along La Rambla, past the market, all the way up to Park Güell (which I couldn’t visit because it was late and tickets were sold out – but I didn’t know that yet when I took this photo!)

So here’s the finished piece, all at once. 🌈✨
With this Grotmas Gitz, I really wanted to push the contrast and embrace bold, saturated colors without holding back.

Ma a voi è mai successo raga?
Io non voglio sputtanare le persone, infatti nonostante non sia la prima volta che capita, non l’ho mai fatto… ma prendere una mia miniatura e RIDIPINGERLA mi sembra una mancanza di rispetto bella e buona. E in più ciliegina sulla torta portarla ad una competizione (ma con lo skintone fatto da me, perché lo skintone non è importante!!!)
io sono stufa di dover giustificare prezzi, di dover specificare alle persone le cose più “banali” che forse banali non sono, stufa delle persone che cercano di prendermi in giro. BASTA

Finally attached the dwarf’s head — now I can get a clearer sense of the lights and shadows and better understand where to make adjustments.
What I’m aiming for is more of a nighttime atmosphere, so I’ll probably darken parts of the piece to push that feeling even further.
