__Sit-Ges Series: No6 – No7 is an investigation into the relationship between architecture, void, and function.
The project begins with a simple question: How little is needed for a chair to exist?
The answer emerges through the reduction of the object to its most essential elements. Flat planes create structure, while a single circular incision introduces movement, lightness and spatial depth.
The curved opening is not merely decorative; it acts as a threshold, transforming solid mass into inhabitable geometry. What appears heavy becomes unexpectedly light and what seems static acquires a sense of flow.
The chairs are conceived as architectural fragments scaled to the human body. They are places to sit but also compositions of shadow, proportions and emptiness. By balancing strict geometric order with a sensual curve, the series proposes a contemporary vision of furniture where function and sculpture become inseparable.
