STRUCTURAL DESIGN ENGINEER – PRECAST

Modern Company for Concrete Products is seeking a qualified and experienced Structural Design Engineer – Precast to join our team at our 6th of October City Office.

🔹 Key Responsibilities
Prepare and develop structural designs for precast concrete elements according to project requirements.
Perform structural analysis and design for precast concrete structures and components.
Prepare and review structural drawings, design calculations, and reinforcement details.
Review IFC drawings, project specifications, and technical requirements.
Coordinate with Technical Office, Production, Planning, and Project Teams to ensure proper implementation of designs.
Provide technical support and resolve structural design issues during production and project ex*****on.
Ensure designs comply with Egyptian Codes, project specifications, and applicable international standards.
Optimize structural designs considering safety, constructability, production requirements, and cost efficiency.
🔹 Job Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering – Structural Engineering.
3–5 years of proven experience in Structural Design within the Precast Concrete Industry.
Precast Concrete Design experience is mandatory.
Strong knowledge of Reinforced Concrete and Precast Concrete Systems.
Excellent command of AutoCAD.
Good experience with structural analysis and design software such as:
SAP2000 – ETABS – SAFE – Prokon – Tekla Structures.
Good knowledge of Egyptian Codes; knowledge of ACI Standards is an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good communication and coordination skills.
Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

Job Vacancy: Civil Engineer (Precast Specialization) Modern Concrete
Join us in building the future together! At Modern Concrete, we don't just build structures; we provide comprehensive solutions in the field of precast concrete.
Location: Cairo – Salah Salem Street.
Key Duties and Responsibilities:
Prepare technical reports and engineering documentation.
Develop and review General Arrangement Drawings (GAD), proposals, and Shop Drawings.
Prepare method statements and technical procedures.
Conduct technical analysis and submit necessary reports.
Collaborate and coordinate effectively with the design, production, and site teams.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
Experience: 3 to 4 years of experience in the Technical Office and Estimation Department, preferably in the Precast concrete field.
Engineering Software: * Full proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory requirement) and Microsoft Office suite.
Experience with Revit and Tekla is highly preferred.
Engineering Codes: Comprehensive knowledge of the Egyptian Code, in addition to ACI and PCI codes.
Quantity Surveying: Good knowledge of quantity surveying processes.
