International Collaboration. Egyptian Engineering. Sustainable Cooling Innovation.
Delta Construction & Manufacturing – Delta DCM was honored to welcome a distinguished high-level delegation from UNIDO, the Multilateral Fund for the Implementation of the Montreal Protocol, and Egypt’s National Ozone Unit (NOU), together with leading experts in the Egyptian HVAC sector, to our manufacturing facility in 10th of Ramadan City, Egypt.
The visit highlighted the results of a collaborative development initiative aimed at advancing high-efficiency, lower-environmental-impact air-conditioning technologies in Egypt.
As one of the Egyptian manufacturers participating in the development program, Delta DCM contributed its engineering and manufacturing capabilities to the development, production, testing, and practical evaluation of an innovative Hybrid Air-Conditioning System.
The developed solution integrates evaporative cooling technologies with DX refrigeration, allowing the system to benefit from evaporative cooling whenever climatic conditions permit while utilizing mechanical refrigeration to maintain the required cooling performance. This hybrid approach is designed to significantly improve energy efficiency compared with conventional all-mechanical cooling solutions, particularly under suitable hot and dry climatic conditions.
The development journey brought together international organizations, Egyptian industry, engineering consultants, testing specialists, and technical institutions, creating an important model of cooperation between international expertise and local Egyptian engineering and manufacturing capabilities.
During the factory visit, the delegation had the opportunity to inspect the developed equipment, review its design and manufacturing approach, and discuss the technical development process and the potential for introducing this technology more widely into the Egyptian and regional HVAC markets.
We were privileged to welcome:
