Ink is now sold in Alef bookstores, Bakiers, Diwan, Volume 1, Samir & Aly, Everymans , Hyper 1 and AUC Katameya. INK was founded in 2010 by Janan Shihadeh and Nihal Mahmoud, Egyptian girls who graduated from the American University in Cairo. Their passion for stationery and their country is what drove them to start this company. Janans’ art background and Nihals’ interest in business development was the successful combination in paving the road for INK. There was a niche that had to be filled in the market and they set out for the challenge to produce a modern, creative, and unique stationery line that is of the best quality. With their western education and eastern roots they have bought and will continue to bring an exclusive Ink product to the Egyptian market and around the globe.
