Our Story

The vision of the cluster is that Denmark is a leading country with regards to sound technology in terms of knowledge, research, education and industry. Danish sound technology will be the epitome of high quality in products and services, as well as in physical rooms and social contexts. A central role for the cluster since its start in 2009 has been to connect the many different business sectors in sound technology and create interdisciplinary dynamics with a focus on innovative technological solutions. Sound technology products and services are broadly characterized by the fact that sound is a key part of the problem or the solution. The cluster currently engage more than 900 individual people from over 320 organizations. We have structured the network's activities in four specific themes that will make it easier to communicate the strengths and competencies in Danish sound technology.
