Good design is in the details.

The way materials meet. The balance of light and space. The small decisions that shape the bigger picture.

At Nineteen Architecture, we believe thoughtful design is about more than aesthetics. It's about creating spaces that feel as good as they look.

Architecture. Design. Craftsmanship.

Good design often starts with a constraint.

For Café La Quart in Ballerup, a fully enclosed terrace wasn’t permitted, so the challenge became part of the design.

We developed an open and flexible solution combining motorized retractable awnings, integrated LED lighting, glass windbreakers and anthracite-grey planter boxes.

Together with a full refurbishment of the existing ground-floor façade, each element was designed and coordinated to create one consistent architectural expression.

The result is a terrace that remains open to the street while providing shelter, comfort and a stronger identity for the café.

One constraint. One integrated solution.
