What if climate impact data were part of early parametric urban planning? Join us on 13 March when we launch LCA Volume.

LCA Volume is a Grasshopper-based script for Rhino, providing you with CO₂ estimates directly in Rhino based on the volumes and geometries you define as an architect.

The purpose is to operationalise CO₂-reduction. It makes climate impact an integrated parameter in early-stage design, alongside other variables already used in parametric design.

Integrating LCA Volume directly into existing software and workflows makes it user-friendly and easy to implement across architectural practices.
The tool applies to master planning projects across Denmark.

The indicative results will help to convey the effect of design choices to clients and highlight conservation and adaptive reuse as a competitive alternative to new construction.

The LCA Volume includes benchmarks from the Paris Agreement-aligned Reduction Roadmap and the national building code.

The methods are research-based and developed in collaboration with Aarhus University.

The launch will be a beta version.

Friday 13 March, we launch the project at the Aarhus Center for Regenerative Construction with the dedicated team:

-Mikkel Schlesinger, Partner, CEBRA
- Stina Rask Jensen, Head of Transformation and Conservation, CEBRA
- Jacob Christensen, Senior Architect, CEBRA
- Steffen Petersen, Professor, Department of Civil and Architectural Engineering, Aarhus University
- Pil Brix Purup, Assistant Professor, Department of Civil and Architectural Engineering, Aarhus University

When: Friday, 13 March, 10.00-11.30
Where: Europaplads 8, 8000 Aarhus C

The project is supported by Mere and AU Connect. Bevar Mere is a joint industry initiative by Grundejernes Investeringsfond, Dreyers Fond, Landsbyggefonden, and Realdania

Internship: Are you studying architecture and looking for an internship from August 2026? Now is your chance to join our next team of interns.

As an architectural intern, you will play an active role in the design process, working alongside architects and constructing architects.

We work across countries, scales and sectors. This means you will have the opportunity to work with different types of clients and projects – from cultural, residential and commercial buildings to the transformation of existing buildings and new-build projects.

Current projects include the Innovation Campus in Billund, the transformation of the Willemoesgade block in Aarhus, and the MiniCO₂ CONCRETE in Fredericia.

At CEBRA, we develop our projects collaboratively in an international and creative working environment. Strong English skills, both spoken and written, are part of the role. Danish is a plus on Danish projects.

We believe in lifelong learning – and we are ready to give you a strong introduction to your work life, with plenty of hands-on experience and opportunities for sparring with ambitious colleagues.

For example, you will become part of our CEBRA education programme, which includes workshops, insights into our artistic and holistic approach, professional sparring sessions and social events.

During your internship, you will be assigned an experienced architect as a mentor who will guide you both professionally and personally throughout your time with us.

We are designing the new headquarters for the energy company AURA in Aarhus!

The 5,000 m² office building will accommodate around 220 employees on Hasselager Allé near Skanderborgvej in the southern part of Aarhus, Denmark.

The new headquarters will bring all company activities under one roof, with only the electricity network and installation operations remaining in Odder.

The project is an ongoing collaboration between AURA, CEBRA, Norconsult, and Per Aarsleff A/S.

Den 9. marts dykker Head of Transformation and Conservation, Stina Rask Jensen, ned i bygherres tidlige beslutningsgrundlag.

Under Building Networks byudviklingskonference sætter Stina de tidlige investeringsvalg under lup.

Oplægget ”Bevar Mere: Klimaaftryk som tidligt investeringsparameter” tager udgangspunkt i to igangværende Mere-projekter:

I samarbejde med bl.a.

Tilmeld dig via linket i kommentarsporet.

Tid: 9. marts klokken 13.45
Sted: Frederiksdal Sinatur & Konference, Frederiksdalsvej 360, 2800 Kgs. Lyngby

Newly graduated architect Constance Belling receives the CEBRA award 2026!

In her graduate project from Arkitektskolen Aarhus, ‘Wet Rehearsals & Tidal Futures’, Constance addresses one of the most urgent architectural questions of our time:

How can we live with water as sea levels continue to rise?

Through a precise, site-specific analysis of hydrology, housing typologies, and the latent potential of the landscape, she develops an alternative to the technical, and often excluding, solutions that currently dominate much climate adaptation.

Instead, she proposes a scenario in which water is given space, and everyday life unfolds through new rhythms and spatial strategies.

She outlines two distinct strategies: allowing water in, letting the ground floor of the house become a basin – or keeping it out by raising the terrain and creating an island around the home.

In both cases, architecture becomes, in Constance’s interpretation, both more compelling and more richly experienced.

Constance Belling receives the CEBRA award – Le Corbusier’s legendary eight-volume ‘Oeuvre Complete’, as well as our books ‘CEBRA files 04’ and ‘We Build Drawings’ – for her artistic, critical and constructive approach to architecture.

She shows that the solutions of tomorrow are not only about technique and control, but also about imagination, beauty, and hope.

How does the design process change when working with reused materials? PensionDanmark, Realdania, and CEBRA zoom in on process and collaboration.

What happens to design when we flip the usual approach on its head – shifting from a blank sheet to starting with the resources already at hand?

During Circular Build Forum, the philanthropic and investment-driven developers will share their experiences of how reuse creates value while also placing new demands on collaboration.

The Danish panel talk draws on projects such as Trælasten in Aarhus, MiniCO₂ Etagehus BETON in Fredericia and 'Reuse On Site'.

Joining the conversation are Partner Mikkel Schlesinger, Jørgen Søndermark (Realdania), and Mikkel Melamies (PensionDanmark), moderated by Head of Transformation and Conservation Stina Rask Jensen.

Diving into the developer’s perspective on the circular design process, the talk ‘Bygherres blik på den cirkulære designproces’ will take place on January 27, 2026.

A new hospitality project designed for DION-AL is taking shape near the coast of Dürres, Albania.

Conceived as two architectural chains, Gjerdanët (The Necklace) draws its inspiration from the jewellery of Albanian national attire.

The northern and southern plots near Lalzi Bay are shaped into a coherent master plan, featuring recreational spaces, apartment buildings, and a small hotel.

Each beaded strand will unfold in subtly rotated volumes that touch at their edges.

Together, they will form tactile passages that balance unity and individual expression.
