Getting ready for the Christmas Market in Aarhus! I have a few favourite pieces - which one do you like best? Each is a 13cm watercolor painting that can be framed, used as a postcard, or as a note. Write your message on the back!

After a few months with life stuff happening, I'm glad to share the final drawing of my first shop. Not everyday I have a steady hand but I think its the charme of an artist embrace the defects, show expressions in the lines. Now how do I paint without damaging? 😬 Trying like everything else right?
I will consider doing a 2nd version more empty with bigger wreaths.
This is a fantastic tea shop in Kolding and it inspires me to look at the windows during Christmas, spring, autumn, summer. Great job!!🤩

Almost ready for the exhibition. I finally finished my last painting yesterday. Think these are the best paintings I have at the moment :)

My first painting 2025 💙

23/11/2024

I finally had the time and the weather to take pictures of my latest finished painting.
"Golden memories"
80x60cm
Acrylic on canvas
I was inspired by the Japanese artworks and my travel there this year:
-use fabric as a frame - the borders on top and bottom
- mountains everywhere
-there is a very light almost invisible horizontal blue line that I wanted to represent the beautiful turquoise water from the lakes and rivers
- 4 red vertical lines as a reference to the Tori's
-gold not just because I like the reflection and the brightness but also because I ate gold in Kanazawa!
There was a lot of things that I wanted to add but it lost the visual balance and focus points. I will definitely need a bigger painting! :) I hope you like it!
