As one of the first to test the new Sony FX5 camera before its official release, DP Malcolm Modele was given the opportunity to create a launch film with the camera.

For "Never Give Up", Malcolm chose Coral Anamorphic lenses to tell the story of an MMA fighter who faces defeat, gets back up, and keeps pushing forward.

“I’ve shot with a lot of anamorphic glass over the years, but I haven’t found another set that renders the world quite like these. They have an organic, painterly character that transforms light into something emotional. They’re the closest I’ve come to capturing exactly what I see in my mind. The highlight roll off, subtle anamorphic flair and skin tones are just stunning!”
