From one angle, it’s a stage for bands and performers; from another, a dynamic skyline that showcases the creativity and hard work of its builders. As you move through its streets, Palapa transforms, reflecting the diverse perspectives of those who built it and those who wander through.

From the breaks at our space yard to the vibrant life on Palapa's streets, this year at Fusion Festival has showcased the resilience, structure and unity of our collective. We're deeply grateful for the people that brought this year's edition to life. You all wrote another chapter in the story of Palapa. The vibrant spirit of the city echoed the courage and imagination of its creators and inhabitants. We didn't just build a stage; but we wrote an objectified testament to organised chaos, craftsmanship, creativity and unity. We had the audacity to aim high, higher the highest. And we failed hard, harder, the hardest. But amid the solid structures and shiny lights, amid all the discussions, arguments, kisses and hugs, we also built a community: Our little beacon of craft, trust and friendship.

A heartfelt thank you goes out to our incredible crew and it's departments: Bar, Crew Care, Office, Light&Tech, Logistics, Deco, Construction; to Kulturkosmos for organising Fusion for 25 years; for keeping the show running; to Security, Supporters, Artists, Bands, Acts and DJs and last but not least, to all the visitors! Your energy, dedication, and passion made the fifth edition of Palapa what it is: Nothing but extraordinary!

The whimsical architecture, awash with a spectral glow, comes alive, guiding each step and move in this communal dance of freedom.

Rain-soaked rhythms and neon dreams! Caught in the mesmerizing pulse of the rain, our tribe danced under a downpour at our Modular Stage Maskenball in '22. There's a wild kind of magic that only unfolds when you surrender to the storm, and that night, we did just that. The glow of our neon-lit paradise cast a surreal hue on a night where the beat became our umbrella. 💃🌧️🎶

Ah, 2018. The year witnessed the inception of Palapa at Speziale. It wasn't just a dancefloor; it was an embodiment of Palapa’s ethos, a remix that juxtaposed the traditional with the dystopian. Neon glows amidst metallic skylines, an urban rave oasis rising from Heini's apple orchard.

As the night fell, Speziale transformed. Every beat resonated with the whispers of adventures past, every light echoed with tales of the cyber realm, and surrounded by the city scape every dancer was teleported into a world far far away.

Now, after 4 years, we return to our home grounds. Our collective of builders, dreamers, and creators is back at Moyn Festival, rekindling the old passion. And while the memories of 2018 remain etched in our hearts, we're poised to create new ones, under the same starlit skies.

A reunion of epic proportions is on the horizon as Moyn Festival and Wanderzirkus dust off the old blueprints and rekindle the fires of a magnificent partnership. We join forces once again and together, we're resurrecting the awe-inspiring spectacle known as Extravaganza! 🎪🌟

The home grounds of Extravaganza at Moyn, also known as 'Speziale', were once our lovechild from 2018 to 2019. In the hands of the Moyn Krew it evolved into an ever growing travelling circus stage that soon became our neighbours at Fusion Festival, breathing life into our wildest imaginations with its signature architecture, eccentric performances and other dizzying delights.

Now, like a phoenix from the ashes, we are set for a grand revival. Only this time, it promises to be larger than life, filled to the brim with a heady concoction of excitement, adventure, and a pinch of the extraordinary.

So, ladies, gents and everyone in between and beyond, gather round and lend your ears. We're about to lift the curtain on a stage that twists reality into whimsy, conjures laughter out of thin air, and transforms the night into a dance of shadows and light. Extravaganza will be back and it's eager to sweep you off your feet and whisk you away to a world where the fantastical becomes reality.

While the dust has settled and the echoes of laughter and music are fading in Lärz, we are already building new worlds at and . But we still want to give a momentous bow and a hearty thank you to all who took part in making Palapa an anti-anti-utopia of creativity and unity.

This goes out to our hardworking and tenacious crew, the beating heart behind the facades. The magic you wove out of sweat, screws, paint, and passion turned Palapa into a dystopian star in the Fusion universe. Each of you brought a unique piece of yourselves into the work and transformed it into a collective masterpiece. This also goes out to , , stage management, artist care and all the other invisible crews and people running the show backstage!

To the artists who graced our stage and the bar with their music, you are the soul of our city. Your energy turned Palapa into a throbbing pulse of harmonies, beats, and melodies. From the sonorous serenades of sunrise sets to the fiery fervour of our closings, you gave us moments that echo in our hearts like a Pioneer DJM delay.

To the crowd of Fusion, you're the reason Palapa's streets throbbed with life. You took our city and completed the picture. You filled it with your spirits and within, you created your own memories that time will never tarnish.

And finally, to Kulturkosmos and all of their crews. Your trust, vision and tireless efforts once again created a cosmos where collective dreams could unfold in all their vibrant hues. Palapa may have been our city, but Fusion is the universe in which it’s allowed to grow and evolve, and for that, we're grateful.
