From the first sketches to the final realization, the AXOR stand designed by 1zu33 was shaped by dedication, precision, and countless moments of collaboration behind the scenes.

Presenting the latest collections by Barber Osgerby and Antonio Citterio, the space invited visitors to experience water, design, and architecture in a unique and emotional way. Every detail was carefully planned and thoughtfully executed to create an atmosphere that reflected AXOR’s vision and values.

We are grateful to AXOR for the inspiring collaboration, the shared trust throughout the process, and the opportunity to bring this project to life together.

Within PRESENCE, the installation designed by 1zu33, the culinary experience with three-star Michelin chef Tohru Nakamura unfolds as an activation of space, perception, and ritual.

A dialogue between physical and mental presence unfolds through draped fabrics and a restrained monochromatic palette, gently heightening tactility and spatial awareness. Deep red floral arrangements introduce moments of contrast and intensity, anchoring the experience between the physical and the perceptual.

Light and sound choreograph the experience. Gradients shift from sunrise to sunset tones, while candlelight softens the space and focused illumination guides attention. Together, they create a subtle emotional arc and continuously shape the atmosphere.

We are incredibly proud of the pavilion at Villa Necchi, a project that brings architectural clarity and precision to life and marks a highly successful completion. The result reflects a careful balance of restraint, materiality, and detail, where every element contributes to a cohesive spatial composition.

This achievement is the outcome of a close and inspiring collaboration with Gaggenau, defined by shared ambition, trust, and a commitment to excellence. Together, we realized a project that meets the highest architectural standards and stands as a meaningful milestone.

Looking back, we are proud to reflect on this journey and to share insights into the planning behind it. From concept and design development by 1zu33 in close collaboration with Gaggenau to the dining experience and communication design, every aspect was conceived as part of one holistic vision. Architectural knowledge was translated into a spatial experience, creating an immersive environment that goes beyond form and shapes a true experience.

Building on the concept of PRESENCE, the space reveals itself as a harmonious and inviting whole.
Clarity, symmetry, and proportion define a serene architectural language in which every element is precisely placed and seamlessly interconnected.
The interplay of structure and atmosphere creates a balanced environment that feels both deliberately designed and effortless.

Embedded in this composition, the Gaggenau appliances make their appearance with understated confidence. Not as isolated objects, but as natural components of the spatial narrative.

A refined expression of continuity, in which architecture and experience merge into a harmonious whole.

The concept, developed in collaboration with Gaggenau, materializes as a precise spatial realization of the brand.

For us, inspiration lives in forces of energy that shape places and moments we can truly feel. Sometimes they reveal themselves in the simplest yet most powerful ways, like the morning sun touching the mountaintops.

In those moments, something becomes visible that goes beyond words. We believe we can learn from these experiences, from their quiet intensity and clarity. This way of thinking is deeply connected to our own story and to our attitude as designers and as human beings.

It is a delicate process of discovery that asks for sensitivity, trust, and a shared vision. Working as a team becomes essential to build the conceptual foundation.

What we created for Gaggenau is an attempt to spark a moment of presence, something that can be felt physically and emotionally at the same time.
