🎬 Setup 1: The perfect combination for modern editing suites

The FlexScan EV3851X ultrawide curved monitor impressively demonstrates that a FlexScan monitor can be seamlessly integrated into professional creative workflows. With its high color gamut coverage of 100% Adobe RGB, 100% Rec.709, 96% DCI-P3, and a 14-bit LUT, it offers features you wouldn’t necessarily expect to find in an office monitor. This makes it ideal as a timeline or preview monitor, and its generous ultrawide format provides additional space for efficient work.

The ColorEdge CG2700X serves as the perfect complement. With its precise color reproduction, it forms the centerpiece for color-critical tasks in video and image editing. [Adobe RGB (>99%), DCI-P3 (>98%), Rec.709 (100%), EBU (100%), SMPTE-C (100%), and sRGB (100%)]

🟥🟩🟦 Not all OLEDs are created equal.

Anyone visiting our booth at IBC should definitely take a look behind our curtain into the darkroom.

There, we’ll be showcasing the new ColorEdge CG3200X—EIZO’s first OLED ColorEdge—in a direct comparison. The Prominence CG1 serves as the reference. Below it, we’re showcasing two CG3200X setups: one with conventional OLED ABL control and one with our own ABL technology.

With conventional OLED monitors, dimming can compromise the integrity of undimmed areas and make it difficult to assess colors, tonal values, and HDR content.

With the ColorEdge CG3200X, we’re taking a different approach. Our ABL control allows for higher brightness thresholds before dimming begins, thereby ensuring a significantly more stable display of bright HDR scenes.

In addition, two different ABL modes are available:

✨ Highlight Dimming
Reduces brightness only in the brightest areas of the image while preserving tonal gradations in mid-tones and dark areas.

✨ Uniform Dimming
Adjusts brightness evenly across the entire screen, ensuring a consistent overall display.

With features such as ABL Safe View, a luminance warning, and an ABL status indicator, the CG3200X also offers tools that give users full control over HDR image evaluation at all times.

The difference is hard to describe. You have to see it.
