“Good Times” puts soft brass melodies at the centre of an open arrangement, backed by acoustic guitars, bass and keys.

Cloudsurfin’ is the project of Istanbul-based producer and multi-instrumentalist Dogan Can Vural. For his new album „Birds and Flowers“, he worked with live musicians from Istanbul’s jazz scene. On „Good Times“, Kemal Ergün plays tenor saxophone and Doga Toparlak plays trombone.

Built around saxophone, bass, guitar and keys, „PowWow“ blends jazz and hip-hop with a psychedelic touch. Repeating elements gradually change as the arrangement develops.

Vienna-born and Bali-based Lofi Sax brings a background in jazz, funk, swing and electronic production to the collaboration. Crystalline works intuitively across pop, jazz, hip-hop and psychedelia, developing tracks from a single melody, chord or sound without deciding the destination in advance.

“Before Dawn” pairs hard-hitting boom bap drums and a groovy bass line with piano, synths, strings and vibraphone. It captures those hours when the sun is already up but the city is still asleep.

„Doldrums“ is a 16-track album built around sample-based production, punchy boom bap drums and recurring piano, Rhodes and vibraphone melodies. Inspired in part by Japanese cinema, the record also brings in bossa nova, jazz arrangements, 808s and live-sounding bass and guitar passages.

London production duo Dream Sweat blend live instrumentation with digital production, unusual time signatures and distinct guitar styles. Their EP „Ancestor’s Tale“ follows the evolution of life through five stages and explores the idea that humans are part of the natural world rather than separate from it.

👤 About the Artist
Hoffy Beats makes instrumental music shaped by years of producing, composing and working across different projects. Since 2019, the Danish producer has released over 300 tracks generating more than 200 million streams. Alongside his own music, he teaches production, runs workshops and co-founded Full Circle Records. After our first joint single in 2024, “Paulie Walnuts” adds another track to our shared catalog.

“5 Years Oiyo Records” marks a milestone for our label and community. What began in Frankfurt as a small group of producers has grown into a global home for lofi and instrumental hip hop. This compilation celebrates that journey, bringing together artists who have defined and carried the Oiyo sound over the past years.

„jumanji“ combines a restless saxophone, soothing piano and pumping drums around a sampled melody. The track draws on the raw sound of the 2016 lo-fi era.

catcher0027 is a Russian beatmaker working with vintage samples, dusty drums and nostalgic loops. His wobbly mixes often carry a hint of boom bap, shaped by an interest in capturing small fragments of harmony and reworking them into something new.
