Damyang is not only famous for its breathtaking bamboo forests – it is also home to some of the sweetest, juiciest strawberries in all of Korea!

Nestled in the clean air and fertile soils of Jeollanamdo, Damyang strawberries are a true taste of nature – bright red, perfectly ripe, and bursting with flavour. Whether you enjoy them fresh, dipped in cream, or turned into jam, one thing is certain: once you try them, you will never forget them (I speak from experience)🍓💛

If you ever find yourself in this beautiful region, make sure to try them! Fresh strawberries in the shade of bamboos is on another level ☀️

What a wonderful evening in Mokpo! 😊

This cozy dinner featured authentic regional dishes, including some delicious bokbunja wine and homemade Korean rice balls. The spicy meat dish was definitely a highlight (but also definitely spicy). The refreshing sides and that ocean view in the background were a perfect combination.

It's these kinds of experiences that really give you a feel for the region and its culinary traditions. Great evening, great food, and a beautiful setting. 🌊

Have you ever seen Mokpo from above? 🌊✨

The Mokpo Marine Cable Car takes you high above the sea, connecting Yudalsan Mountain with Gohado Island and offering one of the most breathtaking views in Korea. As you glide over the sparkling water, you can see the city, the harbor, the mountains, and the many small islands of the beautiful Dadohae Sea all at once.

Especially around sunset, the view becomes truly magical. Golden light, the ocean below, and the endless horizon make this a moment you will never forget.

If you visit Jeollanam-do, this is definitely a place you should not miss 💙
