In Löberitz, an existing wind site is being developed into a hybrid park. Five older wind turbines are being replaced by three modern turbines, with significantly higher output and around ten times the expected annual energy yield.
Project at a glance:
🌬️ Wind: 21.6 MW
☀️ PV: 19.99 MWp
🔋 Battery storage: part of the hybrid concept
🔌 Grid connection: shared grid connection point
Work is progressing on site. The concrete towers are in place, and main components such as steel tower sections, nacelles and rotor blades are being installed. PV construction is also starting. Implementation on the site begins this October.
Löberitz shows how repowering and hybridisation can be combined: fewer turbines, more generation and continued use of existing infrastructure.
