Did you know? DUCON concrete was used to build the world‘s thinnest solution for high-quality explosion protection at the World Trade Center New York. In addition, the associated „Liberty Park“ was extended with thin seating systems and façade panels made of 30 - 55mm thick, white DUCON concrete.🌳

Stackable 30mm: In these German Army depots, the damaged floor surface was repaired with DUCON concrete. The result: An ultra-thin, yet highly resilient, jointless floor as a high-stacking storage area with maximum load-bearing capacity. 💪

Staplertaugliche 30 mm: Bei diesen Bundeswehrdepots wurde die beschädigte Bodenfläche mit DUCON Beton instandgesetzt. Das Ergebnis: ein ultradünner, trotzdem hochbelastbarer und fugenloser Boden als Hochregallagerfläche mit höchster Tragkraft. 💪

🧡New Project: Hotel Reutlingen, Germany

Cubic design feature: This unique hotel building with a bright white concrete façade was built in the middle of Reutlingen. The 243 DUCON elements used for this building were especially thin, with a thickness of 55 to 80mm, making the 140-room hotel airy and light as if it were floating. 🏗

DUCON® facade completely installed in February 2022. 🧡

Application: Ultra-slim facade panels (DUCON®)
Two versions: 55mm thin, up to 20m2 & 80mm thin, up to 30m2
Advantage: Reduction of facade dead-load by > 50%
Sustainability: thin & lightweight DUCON elements lead to low carbon emissions compared to standard concrete ❗️
Anchoring: just 2+2 anchors per panel >20sqm
Earthquake zone: III
