“This is sort of reasoning backwards. I started from the principle of suspension and imagined the finest possible tie rods. Then I reduced the shelving structure to a minimum, thereby enhancing the presence of the objects displayed.” - Jean Nouvel Jean Nouvel

Designed by Anton Defant , the Widescreen Bookstand is composed of four interconnected surfaces in veneer that extend across the length of the object in a folded geometry. Finished in a deep matte lacquer, the surface reduces reflections while allowing the natural
grain of the wood to remain visible.

Anzeige / A room is not defined by individual objects, but by the dialogue between material, colour and light.

We harmonised function and form to design and realise our office in cherry wood. Bespoke built-ins define the architecture of the space, where exceptional materials, refined detailing and precise craftsmanship create a quiet sense of permanence.

Buff by Farrow & Ball provides a warm, understated backdrop that enhances the richness of the timber and shifts beautifully with the changing daylight. Carefully selected vintage & design pieces complete the interior, adding depth, history and contrast to an otherwise restrained material palette.
