Mezzanine for a micro apartment in Kreuzberg
In one compact room, a multifunctional mezzanine is introduced, lifting the bed above and creating a workspace tucked neatly underneath.
The metal staircase is designed with a circular perforation pattern to ensure that the desk receives sufficient natural light and does not feel enclosed.
The mezzanine, desk, and staircase all form a single element made of white powder-coated steel.
Guardrails and a bedside shelf are separate metal components, added to enhance safety, functionality, and comfort.
