Versatile Installation Options Thanks to the Highly Flexible SOLAR-RIPP® System!

For pool owners with limited installation space, we recommend the proven vertical installation method. In this configuration, the RIPPultimate® solar absorber is installed vertically and functions as an energy fence. Suitable mounting surfaces include walls, fences, retaining walls, or specially designed support structures made of wood or metal that receive direct sunlight throughout the day.☀️

A key advantage of this system is that it requires no additional ground space. Furthermore, the simple and ergonomic fence installation provides the added benefit of a semi-transparent privacy screen.

The connection to the pool filtration system is made using the HPRL design, with the hydraulic connection located on either the right or left side. The upper manifold channel serves as a smart integrated return line, while the large main channel reduces the flow velocity through the ribbed solar hoses. This minimizes pressure losses and enables a high temperature increase.🌡️

For vertically installed supply and return manifolds, the SOLAR-RIPP® experts recommend a spacing of 1/3 meter (33 cm) between the vertical clip rails to prevent the horizontally installed ribbed solar hoses from sagging.

The cold-water inlet is typically connected at a right angle to the installation plane via the lower supply manifold inlet. For this connection, the low-resistance versions 4.8 or 4.9 can be selected in the online configurator. A particularly elegant solution is the compact 180° elbow (Part No. 5.2), which is installed at the upper return manifold outlet. ⚙️

Integration into the pool filtration circuit is independent of the absorber's installation position and can be controlled either manually using ball valves or fully automatically with a solar controller and motorized valve. The RIPPultimate® solar absorber is resistant to both positive and negative pressure and can be installed either above the pool water level or, on sloping properties, below the water surface.

Our RIPPultimate® solar absorber from SOLAR-RIPP® is in use in the sunny south of Greece ☀️

No distance is too far for a new SOLAR-RIPP® installation! For the system shown in the picture, we delivered the ordered solar absorber via freight forwarding over a distance of around 2,500 km. We don’t want our customers to wait, so the order arrived at our customer’s location in Greece after only around 10 days. 🌍

For the pool, which holds 64,000 liters of water and measures 4.4 m x 9.4 m, the customer chose a pergola solution, which is perfectly suited to support the ribbed tubing system. The 37 m² RIPPultimate® solar absorber in the HRPL design fits perfectly on the pergola roof and is located close to the pool. 💧The system is complemented by a pump with a capacity of 15 m³/h.
