One story is impressive. Two stories from different markets tell an even bigger story.

On August 18, we shared the story of a pulsFOG unit in Romania that has been in professional use for almost 30 years and is still working reliably today.
Just two days later, our representative BuyGreen de México shared another remarkable example: a pulsFOG K-10 SP with 26 years of professional use – and still going strong.

Almost 30 years in professional use – and still working reliably

This pulsFOG K-10 SP is still used by Răzvan Constantinescu of Deconf SRL in Romania for professional pest control. The unit is mainly used in the basements of residential buildings and, during the summer season, for outdoor mosquito control. It operates at least three times per week and, on larger jobs, often runs for several hours at a time.

Over the years, it has completed many hundreds of professional applications. Răzvan purchased the machine second-hand and continues to use it exclusively for professional work. What impresses him most is not one particular application, but the fact that the unit continues to perform reliably after almost three decades of intensive use.

From Überlingen to Costa Rica: 300 pulsFOG K-10-SP units delivered for public health operations

Following our recent post about pulsFOG technology being used by the Costa Rican Ministry of Health, we are pleased to share more about this important project.

At our headquarters in Überlingen, Germany, a full container loaded with 300 pulsFOG K-10-SP thermal fogging units was prepared for shipment to Costa Rica.
Our local partner Ratecsa secured the contract through a highly competitive tender process. This reflects the Ministry’s demand for reliable, high-quality equipment backed by strong local service and technical support.

Upon arrival, the equipment was received by Ratecsa and handed over to the Ministerio de Salud. A technical introduction was also provided to support the professional and reliable use of the units in future pest and vector control operations.

This project shows how dependable technology, international logistics and strong local partnerships come together to support public health programs on the ground.

We sincerely thank Ratecsa for their commitment and for representing pulsFOG technology in Costa Rica.

Strengthening a partnership built on decades of trust

We were delighted to welcome Eddie Engelbrecht, CEO of our long-standing partner Degesch South Africa, and his son Alden to our headquarters in Überlingen. To mark their visit, the South African flag was proudly raised alongside the pulsFOG flag.

For decades, Degesch South Africa has relied on German-engineered pulsFOG equipment. We greatly value the confidence they continue to place in our products and the strong relationship that has developed between our companies over the years.

Their visit gave us the opportunity to discuss current market developments, share ideas, present the latest news from pulsFOG and explore future opportunities together.
We were especially pleased that Werner Stahl and his wife joined us to personally welcome our guests. It was a special moment that reflected the personal relationships and family values that have shaped pulsFOG for generations.
The day concluded with a relaxed dinner overlooking beautiful Lake Constance – the perfect setting to continue our conversations and enjoy some time together beyond the meeting room.

Team spirit goes beyond our daily work

During the World Cup, Claudius took the initiative and organised an internal prediction competition for the pulsFOG team. Everyone who participated contributed to the prize pot, which was shared among the top three finishers at the end of the tournament.
