CHYBIK + KRISTOF Architects is a studio specializing in architecture and urban design.

Founded by Ondrej Chybik and Michal Kristof in 2010, CH+K explores the Creative Reuse of Cities as a tool for urban transformation and cultural continuity. CHYBIK+KRISTOF is an international studio based in London, Prague, Brno and Bratislava and works within the fields of architecture, urban planning and landscape design.

🏅 Two of our projects received international recognition this week!

The Urban Arena and Forestry in the Forest were both shortlisted for the World Architecture Festival 2026 – in the categories of Multifunctional Buildings and Future Projects. The Urban Arena was also shortlisted for the PULSE Architecture & Design Awards in the Public Buildings category.

Congratulations to all the nominees.

The results will be announced this autumn at the WAF in Fort Lauderdale, Florida, and at PULSE Prague.

We’re looking for a cultural professional to join us on a time-limited project running through the end of 2026!

You’ll be the operational and inventive backbone of an international exhibition project - coordinating the process from early-stage planning through to opening night and post-event evaluation.

The role includes a 7-week working period based in Berlin, where you will coordinate directly with gallery partners and local stakeholders.

60 people with disabilities took part in a guided tour of the Urban Arena! 🧑🏻‍🦽

Led by David Beke, the tour introduced the venue’s features, including disabled seating area, which enjoys some of the best views in the arena.

Urszula Sedziak and Ondrej Svancara participated in the 2nd edition of EDGE Festival.

Urszula joined the Interstellar session and discussion panel alongside Rodia Valladares Sánchez (Studio Gang), Michel Rojkind (Rojkind Arquitectos), and Beat Huesler (OPPENHEIM ARCHITECTURE), and moderated by Zoltán Neville, where she also delivered a lecture on the Creative Reuse of Cities.

Ondrej took part in a debate addressing the future of the Rákosrendező district, with a notable contribution from Vitézy Dávid.

Our Urban Arena nominated for Česká cena za architekturu! 🏟️

Organised by the Czech Chamber of Architects, it is one of the Czech Republic's most respected architecture awards. Our project has been selected as one of 25 nominees, with the winner to be announced in November.

🇬🇧 Join us tomorrow for the vernissage of student proposals from studio Fakulta architektury VUT / Faculty of Architecture BUT led by by Ondrej Chybik and Sarka Kubinova.

The exhibition will present seven design interventions for the American Carwash site in London.

The doors open at 4 p.m. at Atelier Bohemia.

Kids took over the Urban Arena last weekend! 🏟️

For the first time, the arena hosted Children’s Day, welcoming families for a day full of activities — basketball, painting, baseball, running on the rooftop or exploring police cars.
