Homes are no longer just places to stay, they’re places to feel, unwind, and reconnect.

Designed as a 380-unit residential spa resort complex in Pervolia, Cyprus, Galini Blu reinterprets the spatial qualities of Mediterranean living in Cyprus, through a contemporary lens.
Shaded pathways, natural materials, water features, and integrated landscape design create a calm, sensory living experience shaped by light, airflow, and openness.

Conceived as more than a residential development, the project balances large-scale living with a strong sense of place, where moments of movement, pause, privacy, and connection unfold naturally throughout the environment.

The design also performs quietly in the background. Passive strategies such as orientation, shading, and natural ventilation contribute to an estimated 30% reduction in energy use, easing both environmental impact and long-term costs.

This project was shaped through a rigorous process where planning, material logic, and collaboration inform every line drawn. Working closely with our trusted partners, we pursued clarity not only in composition, but in performance, achieving a reduction of approximately 15% in construction cost and up to 30% in energy demand.

Rather than a conventional renovation, the project re-composes the existing structure, introducing layered balconies, a new penthouse level, and a redefined facade to open each space outward. The intervention reshapes mass and rhythm, creating a clearer relationship between interior living and the Mediterranean landscape.

For this project, we focused on how spaces are discovered, shaping a sequence of transitions through level changes, framed views, and layered thresholds. Water elements mark key moments, while planting and natural materials soften the edges between architecture and landscape. The composition of volumes creates both openness and retreat, allowing the experience to shift gradually from social to more intimate settings.

We started Cavo Zoe by considering our role as architects & designers.

When the setting is already so powerful, the challenge is not to compete with it, but to respond with restraint. We chose to work with the landscape, allowing light, water, and material to guide the spatial experience rather than define it.

Our approach was to step back where needed, and intervene only where it added clarity. The result is an architecture that feels grounded, fluid, and inherently connected to its surroundings.
