NXB Structure MCB

The # miniature circuit breaker is essentially a new generation of modular and platform-based miniature circuit breaker structure. Compared with many "traditional universal MCB structures", it has made significant upgrades in the contact system, arc extinguishing system, tripping mechanism and shell platform.

Now I'll explain it to you in a way that both can understand.

❓What is the structure of NXB?

NXB is a new platform structure featuring "optimized contact system + efficient arc extinguishing chamber + modular tripping mechanism".

It is not just a simple change of the outer casing; rather, it represents a generation of internal core structure redesign.

📖The core differences between and the "conventional MCB" structure

1️⃣ Contact system: Dual break points / Quick disconnection optimization

*Standard MCB:

Mostly single breakpoints or simple double breakpoints

The disconnection speed is relatively slower than the average.

For DC or high short-circuit situations, the contact pressure requirements are high.

*NXB Structure:

Optimize the double breakpoint structure

The moving and static contacts have a faster breaking speed.

Contact pressure and breaking travel are more reasonable.

2️⃣ Arc-extinguishing system: Multi-panel high-efficiency arc-extinguishing grid

*Standard MCB:

The number of arc-extinguishing grid plates is small.

Limited in handling high currents and DC arc extinguishing capabilities

*NXB Structure:

Extended type, multi-plate metal arc extinguishing grid

Cooperative with the arc guiding structure

The arc was rapidly elongated, cooled and divided.

✅ Benefits:

The disconnection is more stable.

Increase Icn (Rated Short-Circuit Breaking Capacity) It is safer at levels such as 6kA / 10kA.

3️⃣ Trip mechanism: Modular thermal magnetic trip

*Standard MCB:

The thermal trip and magnetic trip mechanisms are simple in structure.

Batch consistency is generally satisfactory.

*NXB Structure:

Plat formized thermal magnetic trip module ,The bimetallic strip heats up more uniformly.

The magnetic trip action point is more stable.

✅ Benefits:

The hysteresis curve shows good consistency (the B/C/D curves are more stable)

Reduce false tripping or failure to operate

Perfectly suitable for batch project supply

4️⃣ Shell and internal layout: High flame retardancy + Optimized electrical clearance

*Standard MCB:

The shell is more like "enclosing the parts"

Internal creepage distance is too tight

*NXB Structure:

Flame-retardant reinforced plastic housing (typically of PA66 grade)

Internal creepage distance and air gap are re-optimized

✅ Benefits:

It is easier to pass the relevant tests of IEC 60947 / 60898

High temperature and high humidity environments are more stable (friendly to Africa / the Middle East / Latin America)

5️⃣ Platform-based design: Not a single model, but an entire generation
