FALCON PLUS TECH SERIES 02 | MAINBOARD SERVICE ⚡

See the modular mainboard design in action. This video takes a closer look at Falcon Plus mainboard removal and installation.

The motor, battery and lighting connectors are positioned outside the mainboard enclosure. During a board replacement, the sealed housing can stay closed, keeping sensitive circuits inside undisturbed. Compared with our earlier layout, the revised structure also improves dust and water protection.

With the service area prepared, the mainboard can be replaced in under five minutes. New MOSFETs and improved thermal management help reduce heat buildup during demanding rides.

USB and Type-C power outputs add a practical touch for everyday use, letting you top up a phone or other electronic devices.

A mainboard should be ready for demanding rides—and straightforward to service when the time comes.

Falcon Plus uses a redesigned modular 36-MOSFET mainboard. Its layout allows the mainboard to be replaced in under five minutes during service.

The motor, battery and lighting connectors sit outside the mainboard enclosure. Technicians can disconnect the module without opening its sealed housing or handling the sensitive circuits inside. Compared with the previous layout, the stronger enclosure structure also improves protection against dust and water.

New MOSFETs generate less heat, while the improved thermal design helps the mainboard manage temperature during demanding rides.

And for everyday convenience, USB and Type-C power outputs let you top up a phone or other electronic devices.

FALCON PLUS TECH SERIES 01 | THE MOTOR ⚙️

A 3500 W rated power figure tells only part of the story. On a long climb, how the motor handles heat matters just as much.

Falcon Plus uses a custom C40 × 4 motor with magnesium-alloy components. Its motor body and reinforcing ribs have been redesigned to better resist impact and deformation. Inside, the revised design uses more copper in the windings, greater magnetic flux and lower internal resistance. Thicker motor cables and an enlarged heat-dissipation area help manage heat during demanding use.

In BEGODE’s internal comparisons, this motor built up less heat and warmed more slowly than any of our earlier motors. During a continuous, extreme 3 km stair-climbing test, neither the motor nor the mainboard triggered a high-temperature alarm.

The motor is designed for easier service, too. After disconnecting the battery cable, the quick-removal design allows the motor to be taken out without opening the mainboard enclosure. That keeps service work away from the sensitive circuits inside.

The goal is power that can keep working hard, backed by a design that is easier to maintain.
