JOB TITLE : SAFETY ENGINEER
JOB SUMMARY
The Safety Engineer is responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring health and safety programs to ensure a safe working environment. The role focuses on preventing workplace accidents, ensuring compliance with safety regulations, and promoting a strong safety culture within the organization.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and implement occupational health and safety policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
• Identify workplace hazards and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with local and international safety regulations.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses; prepare detailed reports.
• Develop and deliver safety training programs for employees.
• Monitor safety performance indicators and prepare reports for management.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness and response plans.
• Work closely with engineering and operations teams to integrate safety into processes and designs.
• Ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Maintain safety documentation and records.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor’s degree in Safety Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field.
• Professional certification (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA, IOSH) is an advantage.
• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in a safety-related role.
• Strong knowledge of safety regulations and standards.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and training skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
