Looks like fall is here! We had a really busy and successful season at the lake this year...looking forward to autumn leaves falling and warm holiday memories. With that in mind...give us a call for your yard work, holiday prep or household cleaning. Allow us to be a helping hand this season...

One look at our lake let's you know the levels are low this year. There will be water restrictions! Plan ahead with a rain barrel, mulch your gardens to hold moisture and purchase drought tolerant plants. For those of you with hot tubs, drain and refill now before the dry summer months come. If you are planning on grass, now is the time! Look for new products on the market that require less watering and be sure to set your timers for early morning watering.

What's with this weather? :)
Well we say it's the best time to get all those pesky jobs done before the real sun shines! Use this intermittent time to get pressure washing, raking, gutters, garages cleaned out, driveways graded and any remaining cutback done before you start planting. Once the good weather is here you won't have time. .. you'll be too busy soaking up the sun!

got w**ds? try our homemade all natural w**d spray-it works better than the chemical stuff and is safe for kids and pets.

Combine 1 4L jug of pickling vinegar (acetic acid content of 7 %)
Bring to an near boil and dissolve 1/2 cup salt, Allow to cool.
Add one tablespoon of Dawn dishsoap and stir slowly.

This product will keep for up to a year. Works best in sunny weather and may need to be reapplied on thicker, larger w**ds.

Well....looks llike summer has arrived here! With the hotter weather, be sure to water in the mornings before the soil warms up. Inside, try turning on your ceiling fan to circulate the air and be sure to use your screen doors-the mosquitos are out along with the sunshine!

Just bought a lime tree...keeping my fingers crossed that it grows! Our climate has changed so much, it may actually be possible to grow our own citrus fruits! I will keep you posted...
