Creating a bee-friendly garden not only helps our fuzzy little pollinators but also brings your garden to life with beautiful blooms and buzzing activity. Here’s how you can make your space a haven for bees:

🌼 Plant native wildflowers – Bees love local blooms they recognize.

🌿 Avoid pesticides – Many chemicals harm pollinators.

💧 Provide fresh water – A shallow dish with pebbles gives bees a safe spot to drink.

🌻 Choose a variety of plants – Different colors and bloom times keep bees visiting all season.

🐝 Leave some wild space – Untidy corners can be great nesting spots.

Small changes make a big buzz! 💛🌍

Our Opuntias are blooming and look fantastic!

* Bloom Time: Spring to early summer (typically May to July, depending on climate and species).
🌵
* Flowers: Bright and showy — often yellow, orange, red, or pink. Some species may have multi-colored petals.
🌸
* Mature Age: They typically don’t bloom until they’re a few years old.

* Sunlight: Full sun is essential — the more light, the better the bloom!
☀️
* Winter Dormancy: A dry, cool winter period helps trigger blooming in the spring.
❄️
* Flowers attract bees, butterflies, and other pollinators. 🐝🦋
