🎒🚌 Another school year is underway, and we’re sending our most precious cargo back to school! 💙

R.Baker & Sons Exteriors would like to wish all the teachers, school staff, and students a healthy, happy, and safe school year! 🍎

With the return of school comes an increase in school buses, traffic, pedestrians, and kids along our roads- especially those waiting for buses and being dropped off or picked up.

Please help us keep our kids safe by staying alert, slowing down, and keeping your phone out of your hands while driving.

A few extra seconds of attention can make all the difference. Let’s all do our part to make sure every child gets to school safely and, most importantly, gets home safely.

Anyone who knows the owner of R. Baker and Sons Exteriors Inc. already knows that this guy doesn’t just take pride in his work- he takes an incredible amount of pride in his family, too. ❤️

Ryan doesn’t work weekends. And although I’m sure his brain is still constantly thinking about schedules, jobs and what needs to get done on the next workday, he has started “ignoring” work, including estimate requests, in the evenings and on weekends.

That doesn’t mean he doesn’t care about his business. Quite the opposite. It means he knows when to put the phone down and be Dad and Husband.

With two kids actively involved in sports, that means softball games, practices, coaching, cheering from the sidelines- and now his youngest is getting ready to start flag football, too. 🥎🏈

And honestly, how amazing is it that supporting small, local businesses can help make this possible?

When you support a local business, you aren’t just supporting a company or a name on a truck. You’re supporting the person behind that name...and the family that gets to have more of them at home, at the ball field and in the stands.

Supporting local means supporting the family behind the name. ❤️

And I couldn’t be prouder of the way Ryan chooses to balance both.

Labourer

We're looking for a hardworking, reliable individual who takes pride in quality workmanship and enjoys working outdoors.

Requirements:

- Valid G Class driver's licence with reliable transportation
- Ability to perform physically demanding work and lift heavy materials
- Comfortable working at heights
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic
- Dependable and punctual
- Ability to work well independently and as part of a team
- Experience in siding, soffit, fascia, eavestrough, or exterior renovations is an asset, but we are willing to train the right candidate

We are also seeking an experienced Lead Hand to join our growing team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading crews while maintaining the high-quality workmanship and professionalism our company is known for.

- Minimum 3 years of experience in exterior renovations (siding, soffit, fascia, eavestrough, windows and doors)
- Valid G Class driver's licence with reliable transportation
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to read plans and work efficiently with minimal supervision
- Comfortable working at heights
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Ability to mentor and train crew members
