Relevant experience an asset, but not necessary. Willing to train right candidate. $20-25/h depending on experience. Benefits available. PPE allowance provided.

Must have:

-excellent attendance
-full G or better license with no restrictions or accidents
-have or be willing to obtain standard first aid / CPR

Hours will vary but must be available and willing to work at least 2 days a week.

Frontenac Tree Service is hiring a summer student position. 3-4 days a week, 10 hour days. Will initially be a labourer position primarily on landscaping, tree planting, firewood processing, trimming / brush clearing, and general labour. Opportunity to learn and advance and receive additional training.

Potential for ongoing employment after summer.

No experience necessary, just a good work ethic and attendance. Must have transportation to work (Yarker). Will be required to obtain PPE necessary for job (chainsaw pants, steel toed boots, forestry helmet, safety glasses).

Completed an interesting job for Atura Power at the Napanee Power Generating station, transplanting 120 red and white cedar from an area slated for development. Multiple public and private utility locates, birdwatch due to the Migratory Birds Act to ensure no nesting was occurring, on site industrial safety training, and a bit of a fight with the weather! Mission accomplished and we expect the majority of these trees to survive and help reduce the impact of this project on the local environment, happy we could assist!
