Cheers to the final deck install of this season. Our customer was thrilled that we managed to squeeze this build in before the heavy snowfalls took over.

For this deck build, we went with pressure treated 2x8's for both the joists and beams, composite decking ontop, an aluminum handrail, 4x4 posts every 6', and 4 - 2x12 stair stringers.

Believe it or not, this was one of the least areas of the house! 😂🤣 I'm super excited to show off the rest of the house!

While I've done countless projects larger than this 1 bedroom , I'm hard-pressed to think of one that ive enjoyed more so this.

As I put the finishing touches on the unit and list it for rent, I can't help but feel a certain level of pride and gratitude that I get to do something I love day in and day out.

If I've got one piece of advice for you, it's figure out what your passionate about and unify that into a career.

When it comes to renovating homes, the kitchen has become one of the most popular rooms to update.

Often the main focal point of a home, the kitchen is also the room that is used the most and as such requires the most amount of planning and attention to detail.

When designing your kitchen, be sure to choose a contractor that is able to balance your needs and desires while also being able to work with the available space and layout of your home.

: Not every renovation needs to start with a sledgehammer! Think critically, and ask yourself where is your money best spent? What is going to add the most value?

The cabinets in this were dated, but in otherwise good condition. By refinishing them, instead of replacing - we were able to save thousands of dollars! With those savings, we were able to add an island, granite countertops, a nicer faucet, and a modern subway tile backsplash!

Aren't hoarder houses fun? 🤣😋 Or am I just an oddball? While my team may have been less then enthusiastic about taking on a "disaster property", I got excited! Theres nothing quite like the pride of workmanship in taking one of the worst homes in the neighborhood, and transforming it into one of the best!
What do you think? Am I nuts? Is a hoarder house something you would be willing to take on?
