Entry-Level Service & Installation Helper / Level 1 Apprentice

Overhead Door of Winnipeg is hiring!

We are looking for reliable, hardworking individuals to join our team as entry-level Service and Installation Helpers. This is a full-time opportunity for someone interested in learning a skilled trade and building a long-term career in the overhead door industry.

No direct overhead door experience is required. We provide hands-on field training, safety orientation and the equipment needed to get started.

What You’ll Do

Assist experienced technicians with service calls and installations
Travel to residential and commercial jobsites throughout Winnipeg each day
Help load, unload and organize tools, equipment and materials
Learn how to install, maintain and repair overhead doors and related equipment
Follow company procedures and jobsite safety requirements
Support technicians in completing work safely, efficiently and professionally

What We’re Looking For

Valid driver’s licence and reliable transportation to our Winnipeg office
Dependable, punctual and ready to work
Comfortable performing physical work and working with tools
Willingness to learn and take direction
Strong safety awareness
Basic mechanical ability or tool knowledge is helpful but not required
Previous construction, installation, warehouse or trades experience is an asset

Position Details

Full-time, permanent position
Monday to Friday
8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Starting wage of $18.50 to $24.00 per hour, depending on experience
Immediate start available
Field training and safety orientation provided
Required safety equipment supplied
Full health benefits after successful completion of the probationary period

Our office is conveniently located for applicants living in Transcona, Elmwood, St. Boniface, Windsor Park, Southdale, Sage Creek, Island Lakes and surrounding areas.

Seeking an experienced and reliable Service Technician Dispatch and Customer Support role for Overhead Door's Service department.

This role is full-time and involves customer service, answering phone and email service inquires, entering work orders and being a point of communication between customers and service technicians.

The is in-office, Monday to Friday, with an early 7am start time. We are looking for someone ideally in the Transcona, Elmwood, St Boniface, Windsor Park areas near the office - this may extend to Southdale, Sage Creek or Island Lakes.
