DUXTON is a family-owned manufacturing business founded in 1999 by Al Dueck. Based on many prior years of experience in the window industry, Dueck chose to focus exclusively on pultruded fiberglass windows and doors due to the material's optimal characteristics. The combination of fiberglass frames and ultra high-performing glass has created some of the highest performing windows in Canada. Experienced staff combine technical knowledge with a keen design interest to create unique window solutions for a wide range of building projects: commercial and residential, new and retrofit.

A closer look at this front entry replacement.
This DUXTON door features a lion knocker originally from France, now reinstalled as part of the new entry.
The warm wood-look finish, black framing and sidelites give the entrance a strong, classic look.

This project was photographed partway through the replacement, giving us a rare side-by-side view of the new DUXTON fiberglass system next to the existing vinyl windows. The comparison makes the change easy to see cleaner sightlines, darker framing and a more refined fit within the architecture. It’s also a great example of what fiberglass can bring to a renovation where design, scale and performance all matter.

Built around the view.

In Manitoba’s Whiteshell, this Timber Ridge Homes residence was designed to keep the landscape present from nearly every space in the home.
DUXTON FiberWall Series 328 & 458 systems, finished in black inside and out with Narrow Perimeter profiles, create clean sightlines across the lake facing elevations. Large fixed glazing, Multi-Point Lock Swinging Doors and Ultra Bi-Parting Sliding Doors work together to frame the water, forest and changing light while creating an easy connection between the interior living spaces and the deck.
The 16' × 11' bi-parting sliding door system with transoms allows for an expansive clear opening, while Cardinal triple-pane glass with LoE-272 on Surface 2 and LoE-180 on Surface 5 provides strong thermal performance without taking away from the clarity of the view.

One finish, one continuous architectural language from the living room and dining spaces to the exterior.

That door knocker is such a nice touch on this all black entry.
A 3/4 2-Panel Oak Grain design with internal grilles, a multipoint lock with a large plate, and a door knocker that ties it all together.

Sage Green was a lovely choice for this home!
Both the front and back doors got an update, and this shade looks great against the home's exterior.

A little look inside the Duxton factory.
Here’s the team working on MasterGrain Cherry Grain fiberglass door panels with a Cocoa Stain finish.
The stain brings out the grain and adds warmth, and character to the finished panel giving the look of wood while keeping the performance of fiberglass.

A look at the latest work on VCCL.

Village Canadien Seniors Complex is a six-storey wood-frame and mass-timber building in Winnipeg, designed to the Passive House standard. This project marks one of the first substantial uses of our Series 458+ with a Passive House rating.

We're proud of the work our team is putting into this project and grateful to be part of a collaborative effort that's bringing something special to the Village Canadien community. Looking forward to seeing it take shape!
