A different kind of concrete delivery 🚧🚂

Here’s a look at our work with Sacchetti as they complete repairs on bridges and sections of railway infrastructure. To access the remote pour locations, our truck is loaded directly onto a train and transported down the tracks to the jobsite.

Projects like these highlight the importance of reliable concrete delivery in hard-to-reach areas — helping support critical infrastructure, remote operations, and the communities that depend on them.

Great teamwork, a unique operation, and incredible scenery along the route. Kudos to everyone envolved!

Multicrete was pleased to spend time in Winnipeg last Friday with our valued partner, Shared Spirits, in what proved to be a highly productive and engaging meeting.

Shared Spirits is a strategic alliance formed by Lac Seul First Nation and Wabauskang First Nation, built on a unique collaboration focused on developing meaningful multi-generational outcomes. Established to unify efforts, Shared Spirits helps streamline engagement with industry, ensuring that economic opportunities, environmental stewardship, and benefits are shared between the two Nations within their Shared Territory.

Safety Is More Than a Workplace Priority — It’s a Way of Life

At Multicrete, safety doesn’t end when the workday does. True safety is a mindset we carry into every environment — including our homes, communities, and summer activities. As we head into the warmer months, it’s the perfect time to refresh our awareness and make smart choices that keep ourselves and our loved ones protected.

🌿 Yard Work and Lawn Care: Summer yard maintenance can be rewarding, but it also comes with risks.
-Wear proper protective gear: safety glasses, gloves, sturdy footwear, and hearing protection.
-Keep children and pets at a safe distance while operating equipment.
-Inspect tools and equipment before use to prevent malfunctions.
-Ensure your tetanus shot is up to date.

🚤 Boating and Water Safety: Time on the water should be fun, and safe.
-Always wear a properly fitted life jacket.
-Never operate a boat while under the influence.
-Check weather conditions before heading out and ensure safety equipment is onboard.

🔥 BBQ and Fire Safety: Grilling season comes with its own hazards.
-Position grills well away from structures and flammable materials.
-Never leave a grill unattended while in use.
-Keep a fire extinguisher or water source nearby.

💧 Hydration and Heat Awareness: Rising temperatures can take a toll quickly.
-Stay hydrated, drink water regularly, even before you feel thirsty.
-Take breaks in shaded or cool areas, especially during peak heat hours.
-Watch for signs of heat exhaustion in yourself and others.

✅ Safety Starts With Awareness: Whether at work or at home, taking proactive steps can prevent injuries and save lives. Let’s continue to prioritize safety in all aspects of our daily routines, because protecting what matters most goes beyond the workplace.

Stay safe, stay prepared, and enjoy a healthy, happy summer! ☀️
