The latest precipitation and soil moisture maps continue to show favourable moisture conditions across much of the Prairies.
While these early moisture conditions support strong crop potential, they can also favour blackleg development and spore dispersal. According to the Canola Council of Canada, warm, humid conditions and frequent rainfall can contribute to increased disease risk throughout the growing season. As growers look to protect yield potential, now is the time to assess blackleg risk and ensure a disease management plan is in place.
Make it a Powerful Pass with MAXENTIS® and help protect your canola yield potential.
