4915 Portage is moving.

Steel going up, crews locked in, and the kind of work ethic that shows in the finished product.

Welcome to 4915 Portage Ave.

16,000 square feet. Eight bays at just over 2,000 square feet each. A pre-engineered steel structure with a steel stud front designed to mirror the completed building right next door.

Foundations are done thanks to Cobra Concrete . Primary steel is up thanks to suppliers Behlen Industries LP . The erectors are on site right now working through the steel structure, wall cladding, and roof system.

The Payne Transportation Ltd ansportation needed a facility built around how their business actually operates.

Large scale warehousing, cross-docking, an equipment shop, and a wash bay all under one roof. Every square foot designed with function in mind.

The two storey office space brings the same level of intention to the professional side of the operation. A 20 foot glazed front entrance, full glass walls, open mezzanine, and a boardroom that leaves an impression on anyone who walks through the door.

On the outside, Tyndall stone, neutral stucco, and a bold red accent band that ties the whole building back to the Payne brand.

Contempora is proud to deliver facilities that work as hard as the businesses inside them.

Final touches being applied, details being dialed in, and a team that takes pride in how the finished product looks from every angle.

This is the part of a project that does not always get the attention it deserves. The final stretch takes just as much focus and care as the first day on site.
