A 10-year-old roof should not need this much work. The problem was what happened underneath it. 👀🏠

This Winnipeg roofing project is a great example of why proper installation matters just as much as the roofing material itself.

Although the previous roof was only about 10 years old, poor workmanship and aging roof decking created issues that needed to be properly addressed. The home dates back to the early 1900s, and the roof decking had not been adequately updated during the previous installation.

Our team took the project back to the structure and rebuilt it the right way. We installed new sheathing across the roof, added new flashing around the dormers, and completed the upper flat section with a 2-ply flat roofing system and custom tapered edge flashing.

For older homes, every roof can come with its own challenges. A thorough approach helps uncover what is happening beneath the surface before the new roofing system goes on.
