Why a cheap fix always fails. 🧵👇
If your paver contractor's quote seems too good to be true, they’re probably just throwing sand at the problem—literally.
On this driveway, we uncovered four inches of sand. Previous guys didn't fix the foundation; they just kept adding sand to temporarily mask the sinking. Excess sand shifts and washes away, meaning you're just paying for a ticking time bomb.
We don't do band-aid fixes. Here’s the real process happening in this video:
The Strip Down: We excavated and removed all 4 inches of that failing sand.
The Foundation: Rebuilt the 3/4" limestone base back up to 1 inch below the pavers and packed it tight with heavy compaction.
The Reset: Laid a precise 1/4" down limestone bedding layer for a flawless, permanent finish.
A proper relevel takes more time, better materials, and a higher investment upfront—but it means you only have to pay for the job once.
