A well-built walkway can completely change how a space looks, feels, and functions.

We were happy to return to this Client's property to complete another landscape upgrade. Our team installed this paver walkway, creating a clean and practical path that fits naturally into the surrounding landscape. The Client made a great choice with Charcoal Grey Holland pavers laid in a herringbone pattern, giving the walkway a timeless look with plenty of visual detail. The darker colour also complements the property beautifully and helps define the path through the space.

Carefully installed and made to last, this walkway improves both the appearance and usability of the property. We’re grateful this Client trusted our team once again and hope they enjoy their newly finished space for years to come.

A finished project and one very happy Client!

Good landscaping is not only about how a property looks. It also plays an important role in protecting the home.

For this project, our team improved the grade around the house to help direct water away from the foundation and reduce the risk of drainage issues. Once the grading was complete, we installed black granite rock beds around the home, creating a clean and consistent finish that complements the property beautifully.

The result is a landscape that looks polished, manages water more effectively, and will be easy to maintain for years to come.

A new space for learning, gathering, and growing.

Our team recently completed this Barkman Concrete Roman circle in collaboration with the Parent Advisory Council at École R.W. Bobby Bend School. The project also featuring beautiful limestone boulders, a crushed granite area, and fresh soil and grass seed shaped around the space to help create a natural and welcoming setting.

This space will make a great outdoor classroom someday, giving students a place to learn, connect, and enjoy the outdoors right on school grounds.

Meet Brad!

Brad found Spruce Acres through Indeed, but he also had a personal connection to the company through family. After hearing positive things about Spruce Acres he decided to apply to be a Landscaping Crew Lead with the team.

Since starting, Brad has enjoyed the people and the culture here at Spruce Acres. He says everyone has been super kind and professional. Outside of work, he likes gardening and enjoying live music.

Meet Aaron!

Aaron joined Spruce Acres after hearing about us through a good friend. With a love for working hard, being outside, and spending the day in the sun, landscaping felt like a natural fit.

When he’s not on the job, Aaron enjoys racing and music. Given the chance, he could talk all day about the intricacies of F1, and he’s always keeping the job site and truck rides lively with great music.

Meet Geraldine!

Geraldine joined Spruce Acres after finding a local part-time job posting on Indeed. Landscaping had always interested her, and she was ready to try something new.

What she enjoys most about working here is the rural setting, the opportunity to learn more about the landscaping business, and being part of a company she believes in.

When she’s not at work, Geraldine enjoys the outdoors, glamping, travelling, white water rafting, quilting, and spending quality time with family and friends.

She also has quite the story to share. Geraldine is a breast cancer survivor, having battled and won in 2017. A couple of years later, she and her husband won two WestJet tickets and turned them into the trip of a lifetime: three weeks backpacking through Europe, with stops in France, Switzerland, and Germany.

We’re happy to have Geraldine on the Spruce Acres team!
