💡 If you own a business or commercial property in Nova Scotia, the government will cover 30% of your solar install. In cash.

That's not a loan. Not a rebate you have to chase. A refundable tax credit — meaning if it's more than you owe in tax, you get a cheque back.

On top of that, you can write off up to 55% of the system cost in your first year.

We talk to NS business owners every week who had no idea these programs existed. The numbers change the conversation completely.

We've laid out everything that's currently available — including the Community Solar program for larger properties — on our website. Link in the comments 👇

If you run a business in Nova Scotia, you've probably noticed your power bills creeping up year after year. You're not imagining it — utility rates have been rising consistently, and more increases are already approved for 2026 and beyond.

Solar panels let you generate your own electricity instead of buying it all from the utility. And right now, the federal government is offering some of the best financial support for business solar that we've ever seen. This article breaks down what's available, how it works, and what it might mean for your business — in plain language.

Why should Nova Scotia businesses choose solar?
