🍂 Getting your A/C ready for winter?

Your outdoor air conditioner is built to handle the weather. The main thing to watch for is leaves and debris falling into the unit.

A fitted winter A/C cover works, but we recommend covering just the top of the unit. A piece of plywood secured with a small brick or stone can do the job while leaving the sides open. Either option is good!

🌷 Remember this in spring: Remove the cover or plywood before you run your A/C.

**This tip is for air conditioners. If your outdoor unit is a heat pump that runs in winter, keep it uncovered.

✅ Keep heat vents clear of furniture, rugs and curtains.
✅ Give return-air grilles some breathing room, too.
