Back on October 29, 2004 when Phil and Anita DiMambro first opened Dimanti, their vision was pretty much limited to fabricating countertops, tabletops, and fireplace surrounds; they had no idea that they would become the proverbial “little engine that could.”
Phil, a Ci
vil Engineer with years of experience working for one of the region’s largest construction companies, along with his wife Anita, were content being the little guy. But, when opportunities to tackle challenges that other shops wouldn’t or couldn’t do came along, they responded with a resounding “I think I can” attitude. With a rapidly growing customer base ranging from Windsor to London, Dimanti is at the forefront of a stone revolution. New and revitalized kitchens are a driving force in the stone industry, and according to Phil, the success and growth of their business has come from working with a tremendous group of local suppliers, builders and cabinetmakers. Once a luxury, Granite, Marble and Quartz have become accessible to even the conservative consumer. With colour choices to satisfy even the most discerning shopper, stone has become one of the hottest must-have finishes for the home.
